A residential project on the way southeast of Dallas will bring more than 1,000 homes.

The River Ridge community is planned in Crandall in Kaufman County. That’s an area that’s seeing some of the greatest increases in North Texas single-family homebuilding.

Dallas-based PMB Capital Investments is planning the project, which will be about 30 minutes from downtown Dallas.

“We’re excited to introduce River Ridge to the North Texas community,” Matt Mildren, a partner at PMB Capital Investments, said in a statement. “Our vision for this development is to create an environment that evokes small-town simplicity without sacrificing the convenience and accessibility of a major city, all with an affordable price tag.”


The new community at the intersection of FM 741 and Highway 175 is adjacent to PMB Capital’s Wildcat Ranch, one of the most popular home developments in Dallas-Fort Worth. Homes in Wildcat Ranch start near $250,000.
