Developer Billingsley Eyes Next Office in Cypress Waters Project
Developer Billingsley Co. is eyeing a new office project in its hugely successful Cypress Waters development. The 300,000-square-foot office planned at 3300 Olympus Blvd. would be constructed close to the Cypress Waters restaurant and retail district called The Sound.
Designed by architect Gensler, the six-story office building will have balconies on three floors. It’s part of a planned three-building campus that includes a 2-acre park. The 3300 Olympus building will include a conference center and fitness facilities. The office project is set to kick off in October, according to planning documents filed with the state.
The Cypress Waters building is the latest office development in the works by Billingsley in the 1,000-acre mixed-use project on Belt Line Road north of LBJ Freeway. The project is on the southern shores of North Lake.
About 3 million square feet of office space has been built in Cypress Waters, home to more than 11,000 workers.
