Denton County Home Community Opens on Lake Lewisville

A new Denton County residential community is bringing more than 230 homes. Taylor Morrison Homes has opened South Oak, a residential community on Lewisville Lake near U.S. Highway 380. The home project has houses ranging from 1,700 to 3,300 square feet and priced from $312,990 to more than $424,990.

“South Oak will redefine waterfront living,” Keith Hurand, president of Taylor Morrison’s Dallas division, said in a statement. “With lake views and luxury amenities, residents will experience a peaceful serenity where every day feels like a vacation.”

The community includes a clubhouse with a resort-style pool, a fitness space, walking trails and fishing in a community pond. The community is in the Little Elm Independent School District.

The Denton County project is the latest residential community on the way in North Texas for Arizona-based Taylor Morrison Homes.

The builder just announced a 2,500-home community in North Fort Worth, being built in partnership with Plano-based developer and builder Green Brick Partners.
