Ocean Spray Plans a Shipping Hub in Southern Dallas
Another big distribution center deal is in the works for southern Dallas County. Consumer products firm Ocean Spray is planning a new shipping hub near Interstate 20 in Dallas. The 270,000-square-foot distribution facility will be in a large warehouse at 9890 Bonnie View Road, according to permits filed with the state. The $2.2 million project is set to open in September in a building owned by NFI Industries.
New Jersey-based NFI Industries, a logistics firm with operations across the country, bought the warehouse late last year and already occupies part of the building. The remainder of the 626,000-square-foot property is being outfitted for Ocean Spray with warehousing and cold storage space.
Commercial property firm CBRE has been marketing the vacant building space to tenants. NFI Industries has previously done projects for Maine-based Ocean Spray in Pennsylvania.
