Huge Distribution Project Headed For North Fort Worth
A huge new industrial project on the way in North Fort Worth will bring more than 1 million square feet of distribution space. DHL Supply Chain has filed building permits for two big warehouses to be constructed near Alliance Airport.
The buildings near FM 156 will contain more than 1.1 million square feet of logistics space. The DHL Alliance Building D and E warehouses are valued at more than $36 million, accord to permits filed with the city.
The buildings are to be built by ARCO National Construction Co., which has done numerous projects for DHL.
Located next to the AllianceTexas project, the new DHL buildings are in the same area where the logistics firm sold two large warehouses last year. Transwestern Investment Group bought the 705,955-square-foot and 494,041-square-foot buildings from DHL.
A DHL representative said the two buildings will be completed in the first quarter of next year.
